About Bushnell's Landscape Creations

BLC's story began in 1979 in the small town of Granite Bay, California. Bushnell's Landscape Creations founder David Bushnell was beginning his landscape career. The company started out as a small design and build landscape construction company. In the 1980's BLC added landscape care and maintenance services in response to client demand.

In the early years the company found that their creative passions were often suppressed by the lack of availability of plant varieties and sizes. BLC responded by growing their own plants and trees to fill this void. By the early 1990's Bushnell's Landscape Creations became a recognized leader in landscape design and construction in the Sacramento area. They continue to uphold this sterling reputation with complete landscape services from design to construction to maintenace, all the while supplying most of the plants and trees from their own nursery.

Bushnell's Landscape Creations has set the bar high, yet year after year they continue to meet and surpass these expectations.

 
Leader in "Best Value" Awards  
Recently the company's design and construction teams have been honored with more "value based" awards than any firm in the Sacramento area. These awards were given by peer associations in the industry. Most of these awards honored the creatitivy and quality within the "Total Dollars Spent" categories.
 
Our Design Team:
Bushnell's Landscape Creations' design team members posses degrees in Landscape Architecture from UC Davis, one of the top accredited schools in the nation. They have experience in design as well as construction.
 
Experience:
Combining Bushnell Industry's over 150 employees, they boast of over 300 years of experience in the Green Industry, including arborist licenses, California Association of Nurseryman's certifications and licenses, Pest and Weed Management certifications and licenses, contractor and landscape architect licenses.
